Multiwheel Roller
Multiwheel rollers use pneumatic-tyred wheels for the initial compaction of roads or foundations. Multiwheel rollers are used mainly in conjunction with other asphalt rollers for surface sealing and stabilisation. They are also used for soil compaction.

Bomag BW 24 R
The BOMAG BW 24 R pneumatic tyred roller has a basic weight of 10 tonnes and can be ballasted to a maximum weight of 24 tonnes. A special feature allows the BW 24 R to be ballasted with water. To adapt the tyre pressure to different applications, e.g. mat thickness, the roller incorporates a tyre inflation on the run system. The roller is powered by a Cummins engine B 4.5-99 C developing 99 hp. The BW 24 R has high travel speed for improved productivity and two ergonomic operator positions for better comfort and safety.
